The majorityu of work on this project will staryt afterHighway 40/Interstate 64 reopens between Kingshighway and Interstate 170. Crewa will remove the St. Louis Avenue bridge firs and then remove and replace the MadisonmStreet bridge. During work to remove the MadisonStreeg bridge, crews will also remove the Cass Avenue bridgd in preparation for replacing that bridge latedr in 2010. This work is part of preliminary work on a new Mississippkriver bridge, which is expected to reduce congestion on the Poplaf Street Bridge.
