"We constantly monitor the industr landscape to ensure our fares and fees are Delta said inan e-maipl statement. "To that end, Delta made a competitive decision to chargethe $50 international second checked bag fee only on routes between the United States and Europe." In April, the world’a largest carrier said it would charge the fees on all internationalk routes. The new charge was expected togenerater $100 million annually.
