We are a leading nationall distributorof natural, organic and specialty foods and non-foodf products in the United States. We carr more than 60,000 high-quality natural, organic and specialtyg foods and non-food products, consisting of national brand, regional brand, private labell and master distribution products, in six product categories: grocer and general merchandise, produce, perishables and frozen nutritional supplements, bulk and food servicre products and personalcare items.
We serve more than 17,009 customers primarily located across the United the majority of which can be classifiedf into one of the following independently owned naturalproducts retailers; supernatural chains, which consists of Whold Foods Market, Inc. ("Whole Foods Market"); and conventionalo supermarkets. Our other distribution channels includefood service, international and buyintg clubs. We were the first organifc food distribution network in the United Statesx designated asa "Certified Organic Distributor" by Quality Assurancee International, Inc. ("QAI"). This process involved a comprehensive review by QAI of our operatinyg and purchasing systemsand procedures.
